April Blog Challenge

It's a new month (ok... we're quite a bit through the new month... sorry!) and we have a new challenge!! We gave three of our local designers a challenge to create a layout (any theme, any style) using the same set of Jillibean Soup patterned papers.

And here's where YOU come in! You have until Monday, April 26th to leave a comment with your vote for your favorite layout. Make sure you either sign in or leave your name with your comment so we can let you know who the winner is. Yep... you read that right... there's a fantastic prize up for grabs! Take a look at this:

The prize package is made up of three "Scrapbook Trends" books (Dec 2009, Feb 2010 and April 2010) and a 48 piece set of "All About Girls" cardstock pad. This huge paper pad includes solid colored cardstock, metallic and glitter. This prize package is worth $65!

The fine print: ONE entry per person, please. Leave a comment on THIS post with your vote and become a FOLLOWER of the blog. We will draw a winner at random and post the results the week of April 26th. The winner will be able to go into the store and pick up their prize any time after the results are posted. It's a Copic wonderland....

Copic markers freshly filled at Scrappin' Time! Not familiar with Copic markers and the wonder they can work? Keep an eye out (and ask at the store) for a new "Copics with Calvin" class coming soon!

Glazed Cardstock

Although the glazed card stock has been at Scrappin' Time for a while... there are new designs in beautiful, rich colors!! The patterns are all "tone on tone" so the picture you see is the glazed portion. *sigh* aren't they pretty??

Have you ever tried "artisan tape" I can't wait to get my hands on some of this stuff!! That red one (second from the right) is just crying out to be used on a Mother's Day gift...

"Roughin' It"

The new line of "Roughin' It" papers and embelishments have arrived from Bo Bunny!

Not only would that marshmallow paper (top right) be great for a camping layout but it would also be a fun background for a special birthday memory at Hu Hot (Have any of you tried the personal s'mores served right at your table? Fun!). The camo paper (towards the bottom left) could also be used for military layouts, birthday parties or grass stained knees!
