Bling!

New sparkly bling has just arrived. Each package contains 5 full srips of "bling" in a rainbow of colors perfect for any season or holiday layout. Aren't they gorgeous??

SUMMER banner

Remember the 72 & Sunny paper we showed you last week? Erin picked up an assortment of products, combined with 2 yards of ribbon and some c'ordinations card stock and came up with this fun and whimsical banner for summer:

It was difficult to shoot a photo because it's so long but this will give you an idea of the finished project. Here's a close up to try and give you more detail:

Would you like to see more? It's hanging at Scrappin' Time! When you stop in this week (don't forget about the April Fools deal happening Thursday), make sure to take a look!

Tim Holtz

More new Tim Holtz in at Scrappin' Time!

Distress inks and these beautiful clock faces. Again, these would be perfect for more than just paper crafting. String one from a cord with a little red heart pendent for an "Alice in Wonderland" themed necklace. You could also use them in home decor projects or glue a flat thumb tack to the back and create unique tacks for your bulletin boards!

MORE punches!!

Scrappin' Time has more new punches this week!! Many are "around the page" punches (you can punch a border AND a corner!) like these:

There are also lots of new border punches:

And some large, wonderful punches:

These would make gorgeous place cards for Easter... and there's still time left to stop in! Just punch out your shape, write on your guest's name. Take the place card and prop them up in a little pail of jellybeans and you have created a colorful, creative tablescape just in time for Easter!

Finally, this punch is also pictured in one of the above photos but I just had to draw some special attention to it:

I am sure that we have more than one Panther or Wildcat fan out there that could use this paw print border punch to make note cards for teachers, name tags for classroom parties or... layouts!! If you like this punch you better hurry in because there's only one left! (The other was bought before it had even been checked in from freight this afternoon!).

Mic - see you real soon - key - why? because we like you - Mouse!

Who doesn't love Mickey Mouse and the gang? Today a new collection of Mickey goodness arrived at Scrappin' Time:

The package of chipboard (the package on the bottom right) comes with tons of shapes and sizes.
This is the back of the package. I think these would make really cool magnets for the fridge or decorations for a Birthday party. To make a really cute Birthday banner cut several large triangles out of patterned paper. Cut one triangle for each letter of the word that you want to spell (ie, McKenzie, Birthday or Celebrate). Attach the flat end of the triangle to a length of ribbon. Glue your letters (cut out of solid colored paper with a Cricut, other die cutting system, use large stickers or cut by hand) to each triangle. Embelish with the bright, fun chipboard shapes and... viola! Instant decoration in under a half of an hour!! TIP: Another twist on this idea would be to use circles or squares instead of the triangles or to use solid backgrounds with patterned paper for the letters. Have fun and make it your own!

Coming Soon

Later this week we will announce a fun challenge where our readers/customers will get to vote between a few designer choices. And YES! there will be a prize involved? Check back soon! Until then... here's a sneak peak just for you...

Tim Holtz

Is it possible to fall in love with a die cutting block? Yes? Ok.... done!! These are... dreamy. Tim Holtz has released a new set of die cuts and Scrappin' Time has 'em!

The shapes are trendy yet vintage. I would love to see the bird cage punched out of chipboard, emblished and covered in a glaze. String it on a long chain and you would have yourself a stunning necklace. Die cuts just aren't for scrapbooking anymore!!
And see that long skinny one on top? That's an entire alphabet set! Please excuse me while I wipe away the drool. These are to die for! Oops... no pun intended!!

72 & Sunny

We R Memory keepers has been really blowing us away lately! Their new line, 72 & Sunny, is bright and fun with a ton of embelishments and papers. Here's a peak:

Visions of Summer projects are dancing around my head like sugar plums. Have you bought this line already? Send a photo of your layout, card, album or project to scrappin_time_blog@yahoo.com and it could be featured on our blog! We look forward to seeing your art!!

Glimmer Mist

Lots of new colors of Glimmer Mist have come in at Scrappin' Time:

Five new Glimmer Mist colors (the black is at both the front and back of this line up) and they're goin' fast!! If you have your heart set on a certain color... hurry in before they're gone!

Star Border Punch

I have a feeling this start border punch by Martha Stewart Crafts won't last long!! With upcoming summer birthday parties, 4th of July pic nics and graduations this punch will come in handy!! Added bonus... the punched out stars can be used as confetti!!

More Totes!

Scrappin' Time can now officially be called your tote headquarters!! Feast your eyes on the tower of totes:

Wowsers!! Isn't she gorgeous??!!?!

Let's take a look at some of the new totes that have come in this past week. Here's a brand new, "Tote-ally cool" blue tote:

it also comes in pink!

Do you ever feel like you need a few extra hands as you carry your stash around? This is a great solution... put your shoulder into it!! Just slip this stylish bag over your shoulder and you're ready to head to a crop or a friends' house. Love it!

This next bag is perfect for someone who likes to pack stuff up for a crop but keeps their tools/stash put away while they are at home. This tote can be stored, when not in use, in practically no space at all:
A view from the top to show you the 6 compartments:

And here it is all folded flat (It comes in blue or pink). Wow. That's flat!!

This last tote is pretty amazing. It rolls up into this compact, portable, stylish buddy:
!
And inside it hold FOUR zipper topped pouches!
That can be removed!! They velcro onto the base. How cool is this? This would be SO nice to use at a crop and then head back home and use the hook to hang it in your crop space. So cool.

I hope that the totes we showed you today and the ones from a few posts ago will help you find something to spark your creativity and tame your stash!!

Prima = WOW!

For years Prima has been bringing us gorgeous flowers and embelishments. But this time, they have outdone themselves! What do you get when you take same plain ol' flowers and a few of the new "flower centers" by Prima?

STUNNING, unique, versatile, detailed, creative and affordable embelishments for your cards and layouts. You get 10 flower centers per package so they will really go a long way.

Wouldn't these be gorgeous in the center of a silk flower attached to a headband? Oooh.... what a beautiful gift!! I'm gonna have to remember that one...

Wild for new totes

Scrappin' Time has gone wild!! Wild for carrying totes, that is!! We have received in several new totes that are as fun to pack and carry as they are to use!!

We love that they come in different sizes, too. The big one would be great for mom/grandma and the little one could be for that budding crafter in your life:

How about these giraffe totes?! Aren't they fab? Gorgeous AND functional?? Score!

Not too wild about the jungle prints? How about some polka dots?? Ya can't go wrong with a polka dot!!
No matter what your style, let your scrap stash show it off!! And let Scrappin' Time help!

Caddy Case - UPDATE!

Do you remember the caddy cases that we featured a few weeks ago? The ones to hold the cricut cartridges? Well... now they can do more!! Scrappin' Time now has the inserts to store... STICKLES!! Isn't it lovely...

Aren't they pretty, all lined up and ready to work?

Personally, we store our stickles upside down so that you can (1) see the colors better (2) don't have to beat them on the counter top in order to get the stickles to the tip before using them (not that we've ever had that problem!?!?!)

And here it is, stacked up with the Cricut cartridges we showed you before:

There's nothing better than organization that actually INSPIRES you to create!!

New Karen Foster!!

Three new, colorful and FUN lines of Karen Foster paper & stickers came in to Scrappin' Time this week!

First up is "Father". Just in time for those "dad day" projects coming up!
Next, "My Roots" helps you scrap your geneology in a bright and new way.

And the final collection, "Family Memories", helps you remember just what family is all about... the time spent together!

Have you picked up any of these papers yet? Have finished projects to share? Email them to scrappin_time_blog@yahoo.com with your contact info and your project could be featured on our blog!!
